Recover Corrupted Tally Accounting Data

This is a Major prob without a proper solution I have seen and found in many tally cases..

I got one such problem 3 days back in my tally software.. I searched and searched and searched but found no proper solution in the last 3 days but finally got the fix for it!!

Usually when Tally data gets corrupted you are shown an error message similar to this:

“Exiting Tally,
File Damaged
File: ‘C:/Tally/Data/0001/Tr01324.500′
Size;- 43136
Possition; 42880
Char;-128 (Done 128)”

or anything looking like then as soon as you open tally and nothing works out!!

But the SOLUTION to it it here now ppl

If you receive an error similar to above then there are very strong chances of recovering your data loosing only last few transaction entries. For recovery from such situations Tally provides an easy company rewriting option, which checks data files for valid entries and recreates the company profile with all the valid data it can recover. To use simply follow the instructions below, it is always better to make a backup of your Tally data folder before attempting any recovery process:

Start Tally and goto Company Selection Screen.

Select the corrupt company profile (usually the one you were working last) and press Enter to start the rewrite process.

This method solves 99% cases of tally data corruption.

The images posted here are of Tally 7.2 but this fix works very well for Tally 9 as well!

iPhone Wifi not working? Reset your network settings

Had a interesting experience this afternoon. I’ve yet to write up my full iPhone experience, but here’s a early sneak peek.

I was working to get my iPhone connected to a hangout Wifi network. All my friends were working on the wifi in through the same network but my iphone which I bought just a couple of days ago wasn’t working!

I went to the guy whim I took the phone from and he said they’ll have to reinstall the software and do the process but I was least interested to loose all my data and back it up and crap..

I came back home and started browsing to get the issue solved..

Finally got the solution to it

From the Home Screen, I clicked on “Settings”. From there, I scrolled down to “General” and clicked on it. From there, I scrolled to the bottom, clicked “Reset”, then “Reset Network Settings”. After accepting the warning that I was doing something dangerous and clicking the giant red button, the iPhone started to restart. After it was done getting reset, I simply went back into Settings -> Wifi, saw my network, connected and it worked!

So, if you’re *still* having trouble with the iPhone Wifi, reset your network settings. That did the trick for me. Woohooo!!

Sync Your Twitter and Facebook Status Updates ;)

Well, managing friends and social networks isn’t exactly convenient these days because there are so many online services and communities to help you stay in touch with and keep track of other people — Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Plaxo, FriendFeed, Loopt, Brightkite, GChat…the list just goes on and on.  One thing you can do to make it all a little easier is to sync your Facebook and Twitter accounts so that the status messages you enter on one site show up at the other too. Here’s how to do it:

Syncing Facebook and Twitter from Facebook:

1) Search for “Twitter” in Facebook and add the first “Twitter” application that shows up in the search results. (It’s made by Twitter itself.)

2) Allow Twitter to access your profile.

3) Log into your Twitter account (via the Twitter application inside Facebook).

Now your Facebook messages will also show up in Twitter! But there’s one more step to send information from Twitter back to Facebook…

4)  After you test out the Facebook to Twitter functionality by typing a message and clicking on “Update,” click on “Allow Twitter to Update Your Facebook Status”

5) Allow status updates from Twitter back to Facebook.

6) Check to see if it works, by logging into twitter.com from a different browser window and entering a status…

Well, as you can see below, it worked! If you’re an avid user of Twitter and Facebook and you’re finding it difficult to manage status updates, you might want to think about merging the two utilities…

Reliance started 1ps msgs all over India givin a couple of schemes..

RC 11 gives 1ps msgs all over india for a month.

and RC 25 gives 500 msgs per day or 15000 msgs all India and a validity of a month.

Now Bing Bang Boommmm.. AIRTEL also launches a aweosme msging package..

RC 22 gives 2200 msgs with a validity of 10 days and

RC 77 gives 10000 msgs with a validity of a month…

I faced a crap prob few days ago in my laptop with Windows 7 installed..

I had installed Mcafee on it and the laptop went crazy.. It shouwd me some errors and I jus cun help myself in using my system.. It kept restarting for some 200 times and I got darn fed up with it and I dunno it suddenly striked my head and I went to the safe mode and uninstalled the only Anti virus I had installed and it worked wonders Restarted it again and it worked awesome..

Im using Avast not.. Its working kewl without ny’ issues
